The purpose of Searchlights of Hope is to introduce you to a lovely illustration of the Bible, The Bible Scroll. It has been put together to assist in a variety of ways including -

• as an aid to personal Bible Study
• to assist group discussion and understanding
• to provide a precis or overview of The Bible from creation to the book of Revelation

But most important of all, it is to help those folk who are searching for truth about life and how they fit into the entirely of life on earth in the present times.

Back in the 1960's, a young Christian felt he was being called by God to start drawing up an easy to read illustration, a visual aid that sets out the Bible story. He asked in prayer :- "Why" - and the answer came back...... 

     "To Help The Blind To See".

The resulting work was initially hand drawn in 6 separate charts. More recently it has been digitised and produced as a single 'roll-out' illustration and has come to be called the Bible Scroll.

This young Christian (an engineer) is now well into his 90's, but remains committed to making known the wonderful life that is available for those who choose it.

Following in family tradition, the engineer's grand-daughter has some of the same desires, these being to make the Love of Jesus known to those with ears to hear it. This has led to the production of an album of original scripture based music. It is titled Trailblazer, with he last track taking up the challenge of the great commission. Many of the tracks relate directly to the Bible Scroll - in particular the track called Mindful of Me.

Understanding how The Bible spans and relates to time from the beginning to the end is quite a challenge. This Scroll was designed in the form of a panoramic illustration to provide a precis of the whole of The Bible from Creation to Revelation, from the Alpha 'α' to the Omega 'Ω'. 

On first sight of this scroll you will immediately see the full picture - literally.
